ICANN

ICANN is the acronym for “Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers”.

It is not an exaggeration to say that it is the supreme regulatory authority for the Internet. Its main missions are to administer the Internet digital resources — such as IP addressing and TLD names — and to coordinate the technical players.
