Long-Tail Keywords

Long-tail keywords are longer search phrases (three or more words) that are more specific than generic keywords.

Long-tail keywords account for a large proportion of Internet searches and can be more relevant to users and website owners. In fact, because they are often more specific and accurately describe what users are looking for, they have a higher potential to respond to specific queries than short, popular keywords, which are often vague.

For example, rather than “web host,” a long-tail keyword could be “web host in Quebec with very competitive prices.”
