Terminal

This word has several meanings, depending on the context.

A hardware terminal is a device that enables remote access to a computer system and forms the endpoint of a computer network. Personal computers, smartphones, workstations, touch tablets and workstations are all terminals.

In software, a terminal is defined as a text-based user interface for interacting with computers. It enables users to execute commands, view results, and control applications running on the computer.
