Introduction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can use two-factor authentication with an Android or iPhone mobile application (such as Google Authenticator) to access mg.n0c.com<\/a>, thus increasing the security of your access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of this article is to explain how to set up your account to use a two-factor authentication application to authenticate yourself when accessing mg.n0c.com<\/a>, and how to avoid the risk of locking yourself out should you lose or break your mobile device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do so, you have to scan a QR code displayed in the MG panel and register it in the two-factor authentication application on your mobile device. A secret key can also be used if you are unable to scan the QR code with your mobile device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1 — Installing the Two-Factor Authentication Application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First of all, make sure that the two-factor authentication application is installed on your mobile device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2 — Activate the Two-Factor Authentication Application<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are two approaches to activation: scanning a QR code with your cell phone or entering a configuration key (secret key).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Activate a TFA with a QR Code<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Open the application on your cell phone and indicate that you are about to scan the QR code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Select Security<\/strong> -> Double auth. (TFA)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. On the Two-Factor Authentication <\/strong>screen, scan the QR CODE<\/strong> image associated with your USERNAME<\/strong> with your cell phone:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    1. Take note of the random code generated by the application, enter it in the AUTHENTIFICATOR CODE<\/strong> field and click on the Enable<\/strong> button:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

      1. If the code entered is valid, you have activated double authentication.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. It is very important to keep a backup copy of your QR CODE<\/strong>, as you could block access to your account if you lose your phone. To avoid this, click on the Download<\/strong> button:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
