Adding and Erasing Meta Tags in a SitePad website

Introduction

The purpose of this article is to explain how to add meta tags to a page on your website. In the context we are dealing with here, a meta tag changes the title of a page seen by a robot only, without changing the title of the page seen by the user.

Note : Metadata are data that provide information on the nature of other data in order to facilitate understanding and management. The name of a file, its size, date of creation or modification are examples of metadata.

Note : The PlanetHoster Glossary contains explanations on multiple topics and can be consulted to clarify certain terms.
