Changing the Title of an Existing Website

Introduction

This article explains how to change the title of an existing web site.

Prerequisite

Enter the following address in your web browser : https://mg.n0c.com/en.

Connect to the tool as explained in Websites Creation.

Note : Make sure the tool is configured in English as explained in the article How to Change the Language.

Process to Change the Title of the Website

  1. Go to Pages -> All pages :
  1. Click on the Edit this item icon next to any page.
  2. In the web page editor, click on the “hamburger menu” in the upper right corner of the orange area:
  1. Click SEO Options in the drop-down menu to open the MetaTags window:
  1. Choose the page you want to edit in the Pages drop-down menu.
    • If you set the site title to Global Meta in this menu, then it will change the title in the settings.
    • Also, if a given page does not have a custom title, then the one set up here will be used as Global Meta.
  2. Add the page title in the field named Site Title.
  3. Click on the green Save Meta button to save your changes.

How to Remove MetaTags

You can also remove meta data by clicking on the red Clear Meta button on the MetaTags form in the SEO options menu.

Note : For Global Meta, if you click on Clear Meta to clear the site title, it will not clear the site title in its settings. The title set at the time of setup will remain the same.
