How to Modify a Web Site Header and Footer

Introduction

In this article, we explain how to modify the header and the footer of a web page.

Prerequisite

Note : Make sure the tool is configured in English (how).

Header and Footer Modification

1. In the side bar menu, select Pages -> All Pages.
2. Choose the Header or Footer in the list of pages and click on the Edit this item icon next to them:

How to Modify the Header

After choosing the header, a new tab opens in the page editor.

1. Click on an item in the header (in the example below, the My Website logo) and modify the parameters of the element via its toolbox and properties:

2. Drag and drop the desired gadgets needed for customizing your menu from the object bar in the left pane of the Page Editor to the desired location in the header.

How to Modify the Footer

In the same way as the modification of the header shown above, you can modify the footer of your site :

1. After choosing the footer, a new tab opens in the page editor.
2. Drag and drop the gadgets you want to add to your footer to further customize it from the object bar in the left pane of the page editor to the desired location.
